amber signals4 70
does anyone know if someone makes amber color front turn signal lenses for the 69-70 chevy truck, its the only vechicle ive seen of that era with clear lenses. i hate them.

It's probably a design element intended to let the clear lenses blend better with the bright grille they're mounted in. Manufacturers went to colored bulbs for front turn signals and it probably saved GM about $.00025 per lens to have them clear, instead of amber colored.
Personally, I prefer them to be clear. But, what I'm gonna do is get Yogi's combination 7-inch headlight/LED turn signal assembly, and ditch the grille for a 71-72 surround with billet grille insert. No parking lights in the bumper, or behind the grille? No problemo. To answer your question....I don't have a clue. Try one of the board members who also sell parts for our trucks, or any one of the many who buy advertising in Classic Trucks or Custom Classic Trucks, for example.

Look at a 71-76 chevy van or gmc van...They have amber park/turn lamps in them...I had the amber lenses in my truck for a while too...I may have a set here...
