AM/FM radio options
MY 69 GMC has a AM radio. I've been looking for an am/fm to take it's place.
Are there radios from years outside our 67-72 range that will fit without hacking the dash?

Re: AM/FM radio options
If you want to just install a am fm radio and you dont care about originality van radios look very similar to the original 67-72 truck radio, you could also use any of the radios from the any of the fullsize cars impala caprice riviera electra 225 you could even use the ones from the A bodied cars like chevelle cutlass nova but tend to be very expensive,if you just want a radio to just to fit in the stock radio hole you could possibly go to some of the later years like 76 77 78 79 80 etc these are still availiable at cheap prices and probably wouldnt need any repair or service work done.

Re: AM/FM radio options
SWBman, thank you. That's the information I was looking for.
I'd like the original but I'm mostly looking for function since I'm not staying original with my truck. Just don't want to cut the dash.
