swap 250 6cyl for 396
Have a 1970 swb w/250 6cyl 2 speed auto. all original truck. Had it for 3 yrs now and restored it. Tired of the 6. Found an original 1968 long bed w/396
and auto with all the goodies I need for my 1970(ps/pb). Would it be hard to swap engines and all the parts(ie would it be a bolt up job) The 68 is $4995. May get it for less if I try real hard. Thanks Ben |

Re: swap 250 6cyl for 396
you really want to pay 5 grand for an engine swap... or you putting the inline in the 68 and tryin to sell it...and if so, how much do you think you'll get back out of it?
Big block chevys are stupid expensive... and considering the prices...they are overated IMO |
