Question Dynomax VS Clifford...

Hey all,

Just curious which headers you guys would choose, Dynomax or Clifford.

The instal will be on a 1968 GMC, 250 inline 6. Also using Offenhauser intake and edlebrock 4 brl. I've heard good and bad things about both, just want to see if you guys use either. The Dynomax is roughly $170 and the Clifford are $400. I realize you get what you pay for though.. Any info is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Dana

similar setup waiting to go in my truck.....the PO had the engine built, the machine shop opted to use the clifford headers, and the offenhauser intake, I believe they were building it from a hot rod magazine build up they had found....still trying to find this article if anyone remembers it.

It was in there like 4-5 months ago, I'll look tonight. I have all of them from the last 5 years, so it might take me a while to sort em out. Does Hooker make one? I have decided I like the Hooker Cmps and super comps better than any other brand, so I'd look into them as well. I do not think the clifford is any better, just pricey. Here are some prices from SUMMIT, I'd avoid hedman, but only because thier BBC headers flanges don't match the factory port shape, maybe the 6 stuff matches the ports. Check them out and you can call 1-800-230-3030 and ask, they're good about answering questions and they can also help out with ciford and other brands as well.
