crazy alarm

this thing is driving me nuts i had to pull my dash apart to fix some lights in the cluster and in the process i had to cut the factory led alarm light its a push in type and has 3 wires i think i might have broke it in the process becouse i cant pust it in now but heres the prob the alarm works fine but after i get in and start the truck after a few minutes the alarm will lock and unlock the doors and flash the lights and horn 3 times in a quik sequence and it will continue to do so every so often it does it like every 10 minutes of driving kinda embarassing too i can be sitting at a light and it will do it its really annoying do i just need to replace the led or what? the alarm is a factory code alarm from 94....
