Rear shock mount same between 1/2 and 3/4?
I just pulled this from my 3/4 ton because of a broken bolt. I have found some in a junkyard from a 1/2 ton but the shock mount pin looks smaller on the 1/2 ton.
But the more I think about it, I'm wondering if my existing mount has some kind of spacer over it to make it a larger diameter... I've never replaced these, do new rear shocks come with a spacing kit? I could use help quickly, the truck rides like a pogo stick without these on! Thanks! |

Anyone? Was really hoping to get this fixed today before the wrecking yard closes...

I think it looks like the 'spacer' is rusted on to the bolt. The spacer should come as part of a new shock.

That's the inner shock bushing seized onto your shaft there. It would ordinarily be made into the lower shock bushing.
