What's worth keeping? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I don't know the model (73ish I'm guessing cuz of the lack of power brakes) but I have it parked in my back yard and it's gonna be parts. I don't know much about the later model trucks so what's worth keeping on this rig before sending it to the crusher?

Mostly looking for parts in the cab that may be salvaged, I am using the front xmember for my 70, the rearend is going in another truck. The hood is unbent and will be saved along with the stepside bed. I just don't wanna junk anything that ya'll might need.

If you plan on junking that rig, gimme a shot at the steps if they are in nice shape I will throw a few bucks your way!!! hehe!!

If it was a 3 speed, keep all the parts, they are becoming quite popular!

Krue I would take pics of the interior and list some of the major items in the Classified forum. Let the bone pickers decide what they need....

Its a shame your not closer, I would take the whole bed off your hands to keep for a spare.
