I got the pcv for my motor year and it points striaght up the one in the truck now has a 90 deg bend does it matter? or should I use the one that points up? What ones are others using?

Same thing really. I like the 90's, but if I remember you can pop the plastic 90 off of your old one & there is a straight pvc valve under it. Snap it on your new one & away ya go...corn

I have alot of oil in my hose wondering if I go up a little way then put an elbow in it if it will help.

OEM was a stright up one with a 90 molded in the hose.

The 90 works better when you don't have the bent hose. Either one will work, though.

I use the straight PCV's and just cut the hose longer to make up for not being molded 90 degrees. Works good and I don't have a problem with it pulling oil up the hose.

you need a valve cover with baffles to keep the oil out of the hose

ya not sure I have tall covers and they bearlly clear the rocker arms
