My 72 K10

A couple old photos of the K10. Still looks the same, I just don't have a camera to take any new pictures.

Man,I sure do like that truck! What color is listed on the VIN-spec sheet? My Blazer was Woodland Green. It`s the same color, but the name kept getting switched around. It`s been the Fleet Green any year not in the line-up since they invented dirt.My`92 GMC K3500 is Woodland Green(Fleet color).

I think the code is 505. I had some touchup done on it a while back and I think it said woodland green on the color sheet they gave me. The option sticker in the glovebox list it as Dark green.

Looks great! You should think about bringing that to Springfield, MO in May.

I usually go to the Chevy/GMC nats in May. We have been looking for some more shows to do and would like to attend an all 4x4 show. My wife will finish school in May, not sure of the date, we hope this is going to free up some time for us. I think last year we only did one show and two or three cruise-ins. The truck has only had about 600 miles put on it since Dec of last year.

It has 2.5 inch pipe back to the mufflers. I am running some of the old flowmaster that they haven't made in years that have that good ring to them. From the mufflers back I have 3" pipe. The pipe is all aluminumized and it does polish up quite well with a little bit of Blue Magic and some elbow grease.

Re: My 72 K10

That definately is one sweet ride ! The combination is perfect. I couldn't find anything listing on what size lift etc your truck has.
If you don't mind, what lift/tire size/wheel size are you running ?

Thanks for the compliment. I'm running a skyjacker 4" softride system with replacement springs front and rear(no blocks). The wheels are M/T challenger forged 15X10s. Tires are M/T 33X12.50 radial claws.

Re: My 72 K10

Great info...Thanks... I have been trying to decide on 33" or 35's for my '72Blazer, and I am very picky as to exactly how the stance looks and you definately nailed it. One more question for you, do you know what offset those wheels are ?

I really don't remember off the top of my head. I didn't order anything special so I assume it's just a standard offset. 4.5" ?

Yep that's my little brothers 74 Chevy that has an 87 front clip. Changed it due to rot and it was priced right.

That is an awesome looking truck. Please let me know if you ever want to sell it. I've been looking for a nice truck for several years and yours is one of the best looking trucks that I've seen.

Thanks for the compliment man! I have only put about 600 miles on it in the last year. I told my wife a couple weeks ago that we were going to have to start driving it more or find it a new home. She told me it wasn't for sale!
