Question on Oil Pressure
What would be a good average oil pressure reading, both at idle and at speed, on a 305 engine at normal operating temperature?

Re: Question on Oil Pressure
30-45ish? I have heard about 10psi for every 1000rpm is safe.

Re: Question on Oil Pressure
In general 15-20 at idle and 10 for every 1000, so 45-50 at WOT.

Re: Question on Oil Pressure
Thanks very much. I was afraid that the pressure on my truck was low, but it appears to be normal. Thanks for your help.
