Portable tire/wheel rack

I am looking for an idea to help with space in shop. I end up with several partial and whole sets of tires and wheels. I am hoping to get an idea of a portable (on wheels/casters) tire rack to use for these that can be moved around and able to stack sets a couple tall. Any ideas and/or pictures?

had not thought of that. I was thinking of a double decker rack with tires vertical, maybe 8 below and 8 above. I can visualize it but maybe beyond my welding skills right now!!

Sounds like you are looking for the type that I see outside of a lot of tire store's that are holding used tires? If so stop by one and ask where they got them.

Re: Portable tire/wheel rack

I just had a $creaming idea for this.At most farm supply type stores(tractor Supply, northern tool, and Gebo's) you can get firewood racks that use 2X4's slipped together in brackets. If you used those you could build a rack cheap and put casters on it.Or you could build it out of 2X4's with casters.
