383 Stroker Timing chain cover? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey guys, I am building a 383 for my 69 panel... I have a double roller timing chain set up. Does anyone know a good place to get a pretty timing chain cover that'll work with the double chain? Also, my slip yoke (on the TH 350 tranny) has a groove in it that keeps eating up the rear seal on the tranny. Where is a good place to get one of these? Thanks Dwayne

As for the slip yoke go to your local driveline shop or transmission shop both should have one.

The timing cover depends on the style you choose for the rest of the "tin",I would think.The GM Performance catalog has some choices.There`s Jegs,P.A.W.,Jegs,and billet companies.The dbl-roller will fit a stock cover,as far as that go.
