Transmission Help Part II

OK, I replace the modulator and checked the vaccum hoses but still cannot get 2 or 3rd, reverse works and 1st. This is the 400th in my sons 78 3/4 ton, any more advice would be appreciated, thanks again.

Ok, I bought my 87 for $200 because of this problem, anyway the only way to fix it is to rebuild it.

im no tranny guy but i have heard people talk about a gov. in a tranny can do wierd things i dont know but you didnt say anything about that? just tring to help good luck
