Buckets Seats

I got a line on some bucket seats for cheap. The guy though they were out of a first gen Jimmy but when he got them they were in a truck. What is the difference between the Truck and Jimmy seats? He had a console too but that has already been sold. I'm also suspicious that the seats may be for a later model jimmy or truck. How can I tell them apart. Will truck and/or later model seats fit in my '69 Blazer? I'm going to look at them this weekend.

I've got some 73 buckets for my 69. To make them sit right, you'll need to add some small spacers to the rear brackets. I've got some aluminum blocks coming in today for these spacers. I'm sure 68 Burb can't wait til I get this order in! They don't have to be very big spacers. They are different thicknesses though. All less than an inch.

the difference is the passenger seat bracket. In a blazer the seat has to flip forward to allow passengers in. In a truck it uses 2 stamped steel brackets that don't allow any movement of the seat. The seat is stationary.

Thanks guys. I hope they are the right thing. WD Steeves, does your passenger seat flip forward? The current brackets in my truck where home-made by a previous owner. They aren't bad but they sit way too high.
