i hav 2 coils i hav to mount under the rear end for a flamethrower kit does anybody hav any ideas? i hav a 69 chevy 1/2 ton shortbox. i can't mount them to the hitch cause they weaken it right? where else do i mount them?

justr pick any hole on the frame rail back there. If none of them work for you...make your own holes. Although...brillin thes frames is a bit of a job in its self.

I think the problem is that you're running the drill backwards (brill).

hey frame rail doesn't work because i hav a coil that the wire comes straight out the top and the rail is too thick so i can't brill any holes in there any other ideas?

orchard's supply hardware next best thing to home depot just cause it's a 3min drive. but you got to love there bolt section

I got a DeWalt cordless Brill at work.Don't try to use one of these to Brill holes in your frame 'less you got plenty of batteries.Also use a sharp good quality brill bit.

the frame with a BFB, (big F'ing bit)...
should you brill with a small bit and work gradually larger or what?

We should make this a review thread. My brill is a skil (rhymes too). It works quite well for brilling small to medium sized holes. I haven't tried to brill anything big or thick yet.

Anyways, I just wanted to bring up the fact that my brill is a skil, I'll go now, lol

I have a Craftsman 1/2 inch brill. Its not cordless, nor vvery fast, but tbrill thing will brill through anything.

My Dad was in the Marines. He was a Brill Sergent. Now he works for the Fire Dept at their brill center.

He wanted to brill a hole in his frame too, but he couldn't. His brill dit was dull, so I sharpened it with a brillo pad.

He tought me how to get a broken off stud out. He said "Take your brill and put it in breverse. Then get a left handed brill dit and brill the stud out backwards. Most of the time, the brill dit will catch and spin the stud out. good advice.
