Just GMC steel wheels?

Can anyone tell me anything about these wheels, I saw them on a GMC 3/4 2wd a while back, and would like to get a set for my chevy 3/4 4x4.....can these wheels be put on a 4x4?
Are these just GMC steel wheels with caps and trim rings? Are they hard to come by?
special thanks to torquepower, as this is his pic.

They`re called Black Nuggets. They aren`t as available as a while back, but you should be able to find them from a light truck wheel/tire distributor.Try Tyres International or National Tire Wholesalers. They have ads in 4Wheel & Offroad.

Re: Just GMC steel wheels?

Is black nuggets the company that makes them, or the name of the series of wheel.....I am having a heck of a time navigating these sites, they only allow you to look at one manufacturer at a time, and then half of them list all of the different sizes of the wheel as a seperate item (one search gave me 1,960 wheels to look at).

Re: Just GMC steel wheels?

When Modular-style wheels were"it",that is what that style was refered as.They came all Chrome, white, chrome w/ black, gold, red,or blue centers in the steel. If you can`t find them w/black centers,I`m pretty sure they still have the all chrome. You can scuff up and paint the centers.Or.just run`em chrome until the centers get funky, then paint them black. The rim is easy to preserve in chrome.

Re: Just GMC steel wheels?

Craigar made them under the Nugget model name.
For quite a while these were pretty much the cheap aftermarket wheel.
