BB onto 2wd

I'm getting ready to put in my BB with T-400 trans in my Blazer. Do I need to put in a high hump or will my low hump work?

Since the engine is a big block, yes, you should use the high hump. On the piuckups, ppl get away with low humps and big block/TH400 combos all the time, but no tellin on a blazer. (we are talkin 2 wheel drive yes?)

Yes. The TH350 in it now was just rebuilt last year. I might leave it in until I have the TH400 rebuilt. Now I just have to get rid of the rest of the truck it came in

I think generally the rule of thumb is to have the high hump but you can get away with it if you have new cab mounts or well body mounts for the blazer

I've got to ask , what did it come in? I'm always looking for parts , especially t400 w/big block trucks . I can always hope , right. Thanks.

Re: BB onto 2wd

My 69 GMC has a factory turbo 400 and it is low hump with a fair amount of room. You'll probably be ok
