Track Bar Bushings

So I got my new bushings in for my stock panhard bar today. They are enrgey poly and they have 4 little black bushings and a brass (i think) dowel. So I would pop both ends on then press the dowel in right? Just with a vise or clamp.

Re: Track Bar Bushings

thats one way of doing it. another option may be to use a small amount of hand soap on the dowel. this will alow it to slide in easily and then the soap will dry out and it will stay put. it's the same method bicycle builders use for hand grips.
