Where's the VIN number?

I thought I read somewhere that the Vin # plate was on the drivers door.
I have two painted over stickers on my door and a metal plate on the door jam with the weights on it.
The only thing on the truck, with the VIN number is the label on the glove box door.

I'm taking my cab off the frame and putting it on a better frame and I'm concerned that down the road I won't be able to prove the title goes with this truck.

I have a 71 Chevy step bed truck, if that helps.
Maybe if someone has a picture of what it looks like and where it goes?
Thanks

Re: Where's the VIN number?

Son of a gun!! It IS on that tag!!!
I must have looked at that tag a hundred time and didn't see the VIN number on it. It so hard to read, I totally missed it.
Thanks for your help!
