depending on how much your rear end is lowered determins if it will fit. If the top of the tire will clear the wheel well, you could get back spacing to p ush it out of the wheel well anc clear the bed. If not, then you'll be doing some cutting to get those to fit. My have to relocate the bump stop though.

Thanks for the reply 69... I have removed my fender wells from the bed of the truck, looks like i can cut about 3 inches of meat out of the floor of the bed and still have about an inch and a half between the sidewall of a tire installed on a wheel with an extreme offset. I am going to run Centerline Drag Star wheels, they are offered in just about whatever offset needed. I think I am going to cut about 3 1/2 inches out of the middle of another set of fender wells I have and heli arch them into a seam I will cut in the center of my current fender wells. That way I will retain a semi-stock look in the bed and still have some mini tubs.

sbc421, I'm running the same size on my 70. 31 16.50's Mickeys.
I bought Vintage Wheels "ralleys" with 8" inside offset. Your tubbing method will work perfect. Although, I want to try 29 18.50's with the same setup. The 31's are too tall for my likes.

I got this response from another board...
Thanks for the reply...

You can go as big as 15x14" w/10" backspace & 31x18.5 MickeyThompson Sportsmans w/o changing the frame, suspension, or rear end width. I had this size on my restorod 67 short-wide & used custom widened ralleys. Of course it did require tubbing the bed to fit & the e-brake cables were hooked up but I never actually used the e-brake during the period the tires were on the truck so I can't say for sure whether they worked but the tires cleared & didn't rub the body or frame.
