Four days off and this is all I got done...

You'd think with all that time, I'd be driving the Blazer by now, but thought I'd post pics of my new dipstick courtesy of ShowmeK20.

Also got the pulley for power steering mounted on the harmonic balancer. Now if I can just get to work on the exhaust, this thing will run!! Jeff.

Well at least you did something. All I did was look at mine and wish I had some time for it. Now next weekend I should get some things done!

Re: Four days off and this is all I got done...

Pulled the driveshafts, blasted, painted black, new u-joints. Before the rear one went back up under the Blazer I scraped about 4-5 lbs of oily "funk" off the undercarriage. Still lots more to scrape and wire brush!

you don't need exhaust to run. Maybe to run down the road, but thats only if you care about your ears.

Re: Four days off and this is all I got done...

hehe, ya Frenchy, since the kids were all up for Thanksgiving, I got out of the "honey do" list. Even managed to avoid putting up xmas lights. I'll have to do it this coming weekend though. Jeff.
