brake drum question
I was wondering if a front brake drum from a old impala would work with a 67-70 truck front spindle.

out of curiosity... why do you want to use an Impalla drum on your truck?

Re: brake drum question
you need to measure you never know. years ago i found out that the front drums on a 64 chevelle, had the same part# as the rear drums on a 74 camaro. they were even priced different. they worked perfect.

Re: brake drum question
The reason why the impala drum is because if I get the truck I would like to go 5 lug and the impala has the big 5 lug pattern, and I dont have the money for buying all the parts for the disc brakes. But I already know if this works I'm still gonna have to figure out what to do about the rearend. Yeah 3qtrtontarrer I read somewhere on this page that the discs on the truck and impala are the same, thats where I got this brainstorm.
