Free Windshield
I have a windshield for a 67-72 chevy truck that is in my way, if someone wants it they can have it for free they just have to pick it up in Owensboro KY. This is not a mint windshield. It is a low end driver quality windshield, would be great for a work truck or daily driver that doesn't look great the shield is not cracked at all. I can maybe get some picks taken but I am away at school right now so I'll have to see if dad can get some if you want them. If you want it PM me and we can arrange a meeting to get the shield to you. If it would be better for you I am going to school in bowling green and if the windshield will fit in my car I will bring it to Bowling Green next time I go home for free, that is as much delivery as I'm willing to do.

Re: Free Windshield
Man I should have posted last week, I had family at my house from Cinci I could have sent it up with them, oh well. If no one else decides they need it I will be making a trip to Louisville in January you could maybe pick it up there.

Re: Free Windshield
when you drive junk...it's far. Otherwise I woulda run down to blue71's house 2 years ago for a fender that he has. (also in that area)
Cinci is doable... but still a bit as far as pucker factor. |

Re: Free Windshield
I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have a free one also. The bottom 2-3 inches are hazy, but no cracks. It just didn't go well with my complete restoration that I'm doing. Anyone want to come and get it, it's yours. I'm not to far from Toledo, Ohio. PM if interested. AP

Re: Free Windshield
ttt, no problem Alan I don't mind you throwing that in, in fact Longhorn may be close enough that he would take it for ya.
If anybody wants this windshield LET ME KNOW! It is going to be broken up and put in the dumpster next Thursday night. If anyone is interested in it but can't get here I will hold it for you but if there is no interest it will be in the dumpster come Thursday night.

Re: Free Windshield
Ok guys I was moving some stuff around and this windshield that I thought I had trashed popped back up so it is up for grabs, it is whole without any cracks but it is a little hazy in some places if anyone wants it FOR FREE it is pickup only in Owensboro KY, hit me up with a PM. If you want it and come get it sometime between now and June I will hold onto it for you but if no one wants it it will go in the dumpster at the end of March.

Re: Free Windshield
Yeah, I'll take it before you throw it away. Do you ever get out east of town up Highway 60?

Re: Free Windshield
Well I am at school in Bowling Green right now but yeah when I am in Owensboro I get out on that end of town.
I also want to make sure you know that I would call this a work truck quality windshield I would not put it in my daily driver but it is not crack (or at least wasn't last weekend when I found it again)

Re: Free Windshield
Yeah, the more I think about it, I'm not going to be trying to drive the '71 until I'm ready to start the full resto. Don't worry about the W.S. Thanks, though.
