Re: Couple pics

I have some more but I have to re size them. I had the whole thing stripped this winter, painted the frame in my basement. Its coming together. Now I have the bed on and am fitting the fenders.

Welcome from California. Looks like you have a good start to your project. What other mods do you have or are you planning for?

Re: Couple pics

The color is actually a ford color. I believe it is dark gray metallic. I had a 2004 F250 last year and thats the paint code I used. Future plans: Well I had a stepside bed but the body shop found alot of rust and rigging under the paint, so its gonna be a fleetside, Its lowered 4 inches all around. It will have different rims prolly 18s or 20s. Complete painless wiring, Stainless steel brake lines, Full autometer guages.
Heres another pic, kinda sux but oh well:::

Plans sound sweet. There are a few of us who have done the Painless kit on our trucks, and some more of us who have done the autometer gauge swap too. If you need any help or have any questions, just check back...or check out the garage secion on the site in my signature...lots of stuff in there.

Re: Couple pics

They are Pro Action. I havent really heard much about them but my machine shop swears my them. I loaded them with stainless valves, valve springs matched to the cam and a set of roller rockers. The motor guy is very confident of about 530hp so we will see. It will be going to the dyno once it is on the road hopefully this spring.

Are they the Pro Action 200cc's? Those ARE good heads..but honestly, you have no need for a dual pattern camshaft with those heads because the exhaust side flows so well, but it certainly won't HURT you (except in the wallet) Depending on compression, I would give it a 500hp rating

Re: Couple pics

Ya those are the heads. I am also going to be running a MSD pro billet dist., MSD 6AL ignition, Holley 750 mech. secondaries, Hooker 1 3/4 headers into 3 inch exhaust with 40 series flowmasters, no cats.

Yep, you're right at the limit for 2½" exhaust, so 3" exhaust won't hurt ya.
