What did you get done?

I didn't do anything usefull this week. When I wasn't sick I was sleeping trying to get rid of this cold/flu/crap I got. I did go to me daughter's first volleyball tournament yesterday. Her team went undefeated all day until the finals and placed second.....

Worked on my oldest daughter's Grand Am on Saturday. Put in a new window regulator. No truck stuff this weekend but a carb rebuild is in the works.

Well, me and the wife bought a kitten (named Deuce), celebrated my birthday (32) with our family, bought a few truck parts, and started doing some wood/trimwork on the house.

Re: What did you get done?

I sold the 85 today, I got an offer from a guy in Houston, so I met him in Dallas to deliver it. So I figured sice I was in the area I might as well pick up a 72 2wd blazerthat a board member had for sale. Thanks John (jxdxwx)

So I pretty much spent alot of my weekend on the road.

Re: What did you get done?

I spent my weekend doing things for the wife . During the week we went to get a new mattress since ours is horribly uncomfortable. I walked out of the furniture stores with receipts for not only the mattress , but also a new matching leather couch, love seat , chair and ottoman . I spent the weekend picking this furniture up , placing it several times in different spots in the living room , etc. I also made a couple trips hauling the old couch , recliner ,etc to some of the student workers that work with my wife . They appreciated it since what they were using for a couch was fun to look at . In between , We found time to take the boys to two different birthday parties and attended the church Christmas party , rode the four wheelers with my boys Saturday(reward for good behavior in school) , and played a little football in the yard . Thats about it . Frank

Re: What did you get done?

went to the junk yard and got front lock outs for my freinds 97 amigo. he has lifted it and is running 32 we go wheeling like 3 days a week. installede the cb in the 84 and drove the 85 in the snow and had a blast spinning all over and ripping doughnuts. worked on my tmaxx and recharged the 84's battery after sitting for 5 weeks cause it is a good weather truck. Also bought a air intake for my buddies 03 taurus ses and fixed his dents. got a drive shaft for my other buddies jeep cause we are lifting it 8 inches it is a 97 cherrekee. other wise i am preparing to get the 85 re inspected for the emissioins failure do to the eger not being on the 305.

Re: What did you get done?

Only stuff truck related was that I smeared some filler on my firewall and powerwashed the grease off my A-arms.

On the wagon:
Flushed the cooling system and heater core for winter prep
Installed the original bench seat after restoring it
washed it and detailed the engine bay
slapped a set of impy SS wheels on her

Sunday I met with a group for our first meet to get rounded up into a B-body club. then went shopping with the fiance.

Re: What did you get done?

Replaced the 20+ year old hot water heater that apparently has been leaking since atleast June. Luckily it's pier and beam so the house didn't get destroyed but it has soaked the ground under the house and made several spots drop. Now comes the fun of dropping several $Grand$ to have the foundation repaired.

-comp cams 280H magnum cam
-hedman headers

Re: What did you get done?

Hmm, I did some truck related stuff this weekend. I picked up this for some parts I needed (front clip, front doors, seats, engine/trans) so I can quickly put a truck together to have a rolling advertisement for my company. I drove it home Saturday.

I plan to get it running right and then pull it apart. It has a ton of features: Barn doors, third seat, rear A/C, etc.
