Need part #

Is this gas pedal + cable assembly still sold by GM? If so, what is the part number? I know I can get one used, but with the prices I get on parts new, I might just go that route instead.

I need to get the pedal + throttle setup for the LS1.

I am going to need a little bit more info to what you want. I work at a GM Parts Dept and can help you out. What are you wanting it to. Something like a 96 f-body?

Re: Need part #

Nah, I literally am going to put a 71-72 gas pedal and cable assembly into the truck. It is supposed to pair up perfectly for the LS1 and is a direct bolt in (one hole to drill) to make it all work. I'd prefer to stick with the stock pedal for our trucks; I have the pedal assembly for an '01-02 Camaro already. I don't want to use it though.

I agree with you on that one. Don't let anyone know that anything is different until you want to.

Re: Need part #

Do you have any idea if GM is still making stock parts for 71-72 trucks? All of the catalogs I'm finding show the cutoff year at 73

Have you called or stopped by your local dealer, they still make a bunch of stuff and I always call my dealer and he looks it up to see if its still available, I always get the GM stuff first if I can. Its usually cheaper than GMparts direct too.

Re: Need part #

Does anyone have one of the original part numbers so I have something to compare to when I call?
