front end swap

Hi all, I am working on a 67 C10 stepside that came factory 6cyl 3 on the tree. I will most likely be running a 327/350 hydro. I have a 85 GMC parts truck that I would like to use the disk brakes and rear end (411 gears are horrible on gas) I need to know if I can use the entire frond end from spindle to spindle including the crossmember. I think it should work but I really need to be know before I take my truck apart. should I just use the spindles and forget the rest? Any help is greatly needed.
Thank you,
G_Goble

Welcome to the board from South Mississippi. You can use the entire crossmember, it's a cheap way to upgrade your brakes. I'm about to do the same thing myself. Check out our FAQ board for lots of good info.
