Re: Aftermarket Sheet Metal

Most of the sheet metal comes from the same place. I'd find a board vendor near you to save shipping. Brothers or WES are both good folks are you side of the country.

Re: Aftermarket Sheet Metal

i haven't found any good sheetmetal, i helped a freind restore '68 camero ,he sold all the new sheetmetal because it don't fit, more work to make it fit than to repiar original stuff , so on my 69 c\10 shortbed i'm using all original parts and repairing with patch pieces, much better fit.

Re: Aftermarket Sheet Metal

On my resto I used Goodmark Industries hood, right inner and outer fender and battery tray. The hood and outer fender fit OK, they aren't a perfect fit but the originals weren't a perfect fit either, so I would say they are good to use. The battery tray bolted right in but the inner fender required redrilling the bolt holes and reshaping with a hammer and still doesn't fit exactly right.
