Rear spring lowering info

Just wonderin how much of the coil I have to cut to get about 2 in. lower in the rear.

You can't cut rear springs.

If all you want is a 2" drop, a 2" set of blocks & longer U bolts should do the trick....... L

Just buy some lowering springs and be done w/ it. They're only $100. Check out Early Classic, McGaughy's, or CPP. They all have quality stuff. You can't cut the rear springs like the fronts since the springs are tapered on each end. You wound't be able to fit the spring into the mounting plate if you cut them.
