decoding rear axle codes
i have a code off a rearend i need decoded. looked like HA P8 19 or HA D819
i cant find the website i used to use for this im just trying to find out the gear ratio taht is in there

thanks. i thought i had looked it up beofre and it was 3.73 but i guess not... how do y ou find ur information website or book?

I use Hollanders myself..but there's an online page at
http://www.americanclassic.com/paint.htm and it says 373 for a 69 at least and I never looked it up in the Hollander yet.

Things change in these trucks..people do all sorts of changes....pulling the cover is best...you'll get a look, and probably needs some fluid change anyway.
