Need help with rings

Ive got a set of sealed power file to fit moly faced (top ) rings that I am trying to figure out what to file them to. I would think .016" but the WORTHLESS tech sheet that came with the rings has got me confused on what the second ring gap should be. Can anyone tell me what they think of this tech sheet. I cant tell if they reccomend .010" , .012" or .016" for the second ring. It is cast iron.

It looks to me that it depends on the type of engine your building. If your building an engine for supercharged or nitrous then the recommended gaps get bigger. The second ring typically has a closer tolerance on end gap because it is exposed to less heat than the top ring. I would vote for the range of .010-.012". i think this is what their chart is trying to show.

My guess...0.016 in. to 0.018 in. on the top and 0.010 in. to 0.012 in. on the bottom, assuming you are doing a street engine.

I went .016" on the top and .011" on the second. Seems tight to me as I have always run .014-.016 on the second but what the hell. Thats what the spec sheet seems to call for so I'll give it a stab. I usually use C&A but I went with sealed power this time.
