I wasent quite sure where to put this.. anyway, I have a porblem with my 93 honda accord SE making a clunking noise when going over bumps and making a left turn. the machanic said *after looking at* it was the sway bar end links were broken or was it the bushings, anyway how hard would it be to replace them? never done it befor. I figured sence I would be praticly taking the thing off I might as well replace all the sway bar bushings. can someone recomend me to some good ones? looking to something other then rubber. would I need to torque it down? * I dont have a torque wrench* anyway hopefuly ya'll can help me, thanks matt

im not sure as to how much you would like to spend on this project but here is a full front and rear performance sway bar kit with all the components needed to do the install.

I wasent planing on upgrading anything other then the bushings. but thank you

will keep that in mind though!

That is fairly common on Hondas, usually the bolt breaks. CarQuest has a good replacement kit that has everything you need. You'll need two. They are easy to replace. You don't need to torque them.

I read a generic instructions about how to do it and it said that you lower the car down then tighten the end links. I was wondering, do I have to do that? because theres No way I can fit under that thing to tighten it lol. thanks again!

When I do them at work I'm under them while their on the hoist with the suspension hanging. I don't think it's an issue to tighten them with the suspension unloaded.

I had a civic that they broke on. Pretty easy to replace. You do want to have a load on it when you tighten them. I had mine jacked up, got it all hooked up, then I lowered the front wheels onto some ramps. The ramps are like the ones you can drive on to change oil. That put a load on the suspension and I could still reach under and tighten them.
