Finished Engine Pics Please

Some of you folks who have completed your engine detailing...I was wondering if you would share some pics. I'm running a small block in mine and wonder what the finishished product is really supposed to look like. I'm just a hack needing some reforming...so if you please....

Things I would really like to see would be shots of the headers in relation to plug wires, alternator placement, and power steering pump placement.

Re: Finished Engine Pics Please

Hey Mario...I see you're using the tubular motor mounts but ... are they mounted on the inside of the framerail instead of on top? Is that normal? Looks strange....

Re: Finished Engine Pics Please

Wow. Mario, where did you get your plug wires?

I'm liking the options of putting the alternater on the right side. Right now mine is on the left. I'll see if I can post some pics over the weekend to show you what I'm starting with...it's a mess.

Re: Finished Engine Pics Please

The motor mount are "North West Auto Fab" They are bolted from inside the frame to the top frame rail. They have Poly mounts and allow me to run Chevelle shortys with 1 5/8" to 3" collectors. The dynomax are supposto fit but they have tiny 1 1/2" primarys to 2 1/2" collector.

The plug wires are "Taylor" as welll as the wire looms.

I should state the truck now has the ever famous "K&N" I like it because mine looks black.

Re: Finished Engine Pics Please

It's not really finished, I have only had the truck a few weeks, I did how ever take care of the hanging wires and bolt the valve cover down.

No, it's Summit stuff. My opinion is it is just as good but much more realistic in pricing.

I see that big foam filter and I wonder - is that a fire hazard? I've heard stories about people's trucks burning to the ground because they used a foam filter. Never actually seen it though, so I figured I'd ask...
