Looks like the red one had a cheap-o quickie paint job, the fender emblem is painted over. They do both look good in the pictures though.

It's one of those rare Rotating Valve motors, ya know, so the seats don't get worn as quick? (bad joke, but that's all I could think of off the top of my head!)

My guess would be that the cam is an RV grind which is pretty common on rebuilds.
