I've been looking for a 71 or 72 parts truck so I can swap front suspensions on my 70 model I was wondering if a late mid 70's to late 80's front end would work ?

I PUT A 75 FRONTEND ASSY. UDER A 69 TRUCK. SAME WIDTH. SEEMS LIKE I HAD TO DRILL OR ELONGATE A COUPLE OF HOLES IS ALL. I'M NOT TOO SURE ABOUT THE 80s FRONTENDS, BUT I KNOW THEY'RE THE SAME AT LEAST TILL 75.

I believe the parts stay similar to about 1980 or so.

I have a pair of 72 spindles with calipers and rotors
basically pull offs for $85 pair
right in Waxahachie,Texas

87 down will fit. I always drop the whole cross member, control arms, and the steering linkages. If you don't have power steering, now is a great time to up grade.

Remember though, they went to metric sometime in the early 80's...84 i think someone said. That makes it fun when trying to run the hardlines.
