WTB: SWB Frame close to Pensacola, FL - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Looking to see if anyone has a SWB frame close to Pensacola, FL. My plan is to box the frame I get and reuse the suspension off my current chassis. If I can get a second (actually it will be my third) frame, it will expedite getting my truck together. Thanx

There's a complete 68 short fleet side body south of Dothan AL for $100, sitting on west side of US 231 about 10 mils south of town. I told a buddy who was looking for a bed but he said it was too rusted for him, not sure about the frame. Number of owner (Dale Adcock) is 334-792-5578. I am also thinking of doing the same thing in the future, but have a line on another one.

I will keep that in mind, I am hoping for one a little closer to Pensacola. I am also hoping, I can find one that is stripped, so I don't have to get rid of the rest. Thanx again, Chuck.

hey npilot, if interested i have a 71 shortframe project truck on ebay #4597675260, you bought a 71 rustfree cab from me awhile back, here in central illinois, frame is good and comes with a rustfree core support,....step side bed and other parts could be sold off of this making the frame almost free, let me know if interested

I have a 72 SWB Coil spring rolling frame in Central FL, Lakeland Area. $200.00. Has surface rust, complete disc brakes front, no damage to frame. Pull up and roll it up on a trailer. Let me know, Dave
