5 spped in a 72?
i know this has been asked before but does anyone have any info or picts for installing a 90s model 5 speed, into a 72 with a big block. i am a complete dummy and any and all info would be awsome.

93+ NV4500.They are very tough. That's what I'm installing in my 67' and my brother is installing in his Cummins powered 67'.

Huck, a member from KY as well out in Shelbyville used to have one in his DD and used it for several years. You should PM him or maybe he will see this thread and chime in. I talked with him about it and he seemed to very pleased with it and the fuel milage increase as well. Crazy that phantom dually as I just found out we went to high school together and ( Fairdale) just figure that out yesterday, Dam sure is a small world.... Randy

I got a 5 speed out of a 72 C-60, put O.D. in it and am going to use in a 67-72 shortbed 4X4 mix. This one should be tough enough.
