holy wheel flares batman!
wow, the flares seem a little crazy for the size of the tire, but maybe there is some serious travel in the suspension for offroad.
I have only driven 1 small window truck.....and that had a blind spot from he!!.....I can't imagine that tire helps matters much http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...spagenameZWDVW

Re: holy wheel flares batman!
If it was an original shortbed 67 4x4, kinda sucks she was cut up, but none the less, that is one bad ass truck. It's meant to be a toy, not a restored truck

Re: holy wheel flares batman!
just by lookin at it ,i would say it had much larger tires on it at one time
i like it but i wouldnt have cut a real 67 4x4 up to have done that , now if it was built outa parts and peices sure i would have did that |

Re: holy wheel flares batman!
Big rig mudflaps rule!! That thing is a total hack P.O.S. Would take a lot of work to fix that back into something worthy. Although it would make for a good Saturday night mud bogger.

Re: holy wheel flares batman!
Cougar, WA is in the middle of logging country, very near Mt. St. Helens. Have you seen what loggers do to perfectly good Levis to keep their caulks from catching on them? Well, then...they take the same approach to their vehicles...LOL!
I had a roommate in college that had a '67 swb 4x4 that he used in the woods. There was not one square foot on the truck that did not have a major dent or scratch in it! That truck has probably been thoroughly thrashed!

Re: holy wheel flares batman!
Why buy a truck if you're not gonna use it as a truck? I bet he had a lot of fun with that truck.

Re: holy wheel flares batman!
I know those are cut-out flares. But,that just looks like more than a 6" lift on 38" tires.38s won`t even fit a truck lifted 6".He must have a body lift he didn`t mention.I wouldn`t call it a hack job just because of the cutouts. No more than smoothing a firewall, notching frames, cuting the bed floor for air-rides,shaving driprails, chopping tops,tubbing...
(or cutting doors for speakers, lol )

Re: holy wheel flares batman!
When i bought my blazer,it had 15" wide swamper's on it.Stuck out 3",not legal around here.I had to get flares or put on different tires.Bushwhacker had cut out flares for 67-72 Chevy's.But no regular flares.I went with BFG 35x12.5.

Re: holy wheel flares batman!
