Doesn't that look kinda glossey for never been painted?
Please correct me if I am wrong... but that just doesn't look like a never been painted gate to me, at least, not from the one poor pic offered. |

Either that's some bad clearcoat peel (which you wouldn't have on an NOS gate), or it's drying water, which would make the gate look glossy. I'm thinking it's water, but who knows.
