Anyone know a good boat forum?
I know this is kinda out of place, but I bought a '88 Winner Sport Boat w/ a knocking motor. It's an OMC sterndrive (In/Out) w/ a Chevy 4.3 V6.
I'm trying to find out if there is anything specific to boats I need to know about before pulling the engine. Anyone know a good boat forum?

Re: Anyone know a good boat forum?
I've been into 'em for a lonnnng time - as far as the engine itself, the only main difference is the anti-spark type air intake. They also usually have brass inserts like freezeplugs etc. so they wont rust. The outdrives are a different animal all together... Any specific type questions I might be able to help you with? I recently rebuilt one of my boats 318s and pretty much did it on my own as the majority of sites I went to only took pictures of others doing work on their boats...(paying for it)

Re: Anyone know a good boat forum?
The only good boat website I know is Boatrader.com (for sale that is).
Actually check this out http://www.duckworksmagazine.com/ The boat I built is featured here at the bottom of this page http://www.duckworksbbs.com/plans/ji...boat/index.htm
