Rear End Q's

I suspect my differntial cover is bent or warped, I've replaced the seal 4 times and it keeps having a small leak. (10 bolt axle) I need a new cover so what do you reccomend? I would like something with an O-ring gasket. This looks cool: http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...2&autoview=sku
I also looked at Mag-hytec's cover too but they want $230 for it!!!!!

I'm also looking at putting in a limited slip or a locker, I keep spinning my tire in the rain, it gets a little annoying. Eaton posi? Powertrax no slip? Detroit trutrac?

3.42 gears and a rear end rebuild should finish that off nicely. Any thoughts??

Re: Rear End Q's

If you don't want to pay the big bucks for an O-ring cover, then get a good aluminum cover from Summit Racing or a rear end outlet. When you install it, throw away the gasket that comes with it and use a good silicone sealer to set it. NAPA sells an awesome sealer now that is called "The Right Stuff". It is made by Permatex and it acutually adheres to an oily surface. I have changed out three rearends lately and I have put the factory covers back on two of them and an aluminum cover on the third, all are sealed well. I did clean the seling surfaces with a Brake-Kleen to help them.
