What were stock gears in 71' with A.T.
What were the stock gears in 71' with Automatic tranny's?. My dad is looking at a truck with a 307 motor for sale and I was curious. It's an all original Custom/10 fleetside LWB. Thanks

Acording to my GM restoration catalog, if it is a 307 V-8, and has a Power Glide, then a 3.73 gear is standasd, with a 4.11 optional.
If it is a Turbo Hydromatic, then a 3.07 is standard, with either a 3.73, or a 4.11 optional. |

It does have a 350 turbo tranny. Will that rear from a 71' 5 lug swap directly to a 70' 6 lug?.
