Im gonna be installing my four link in a couple of hours and just thought I would double check what the pinion angle should be before I put it on? Ive heard that it should be 4-5 degrees down and read in another thread that if you within 2-3degrees that it would be fine. Is all this true?

Last one I set up was in a drag race car. We went 7 degrees below center . Seemed to hook up best there. Also is 9 inch ford differential. Good Luck. Larry

4 to 5 degrees is what is recomended on the street, what 4 link did you get? Also make sure your lower arms are even and parellel to the ground with the vehicle setting at the diesired ride you are looking for.

The suicide doors super lift triangulated 4 link 36 in lower bar and 38 in upper adjustable bars

4 links should not be more than 3* or no less than 1*. ladder bars and springs are different. If you go to small or to large on the degree you'll have a vibration while driving, racing is different. The Triangulated 4 bar is a pain to correct afterward, you have to cut and rethread the bars so git it right the first time and tac everything before you do a full bead.
Tac the axle housing to the jack stands so it doesn't move.

This is mine on a 58 3100 but its the same idea
Mine is a pinion centered rear and yours most likely is not so thats the reason some thing look so close on the right side of the rear housing.
