Doing front end rebuild, will I need any bushings?
Are there any rubber bushings in the A arms of a 72 GMC 1500? I am going to purchase ball joints, tie rods, idler, pitman, anything else I will need in order to rebuild front end?

Re: Doing front end rebuild, will I need any bushings?
nice avatar -- as soon as I can stop looking at it I will type something useful. 72 has the threaded bushings and caps --- when you unleash the top ball joint --you can check for wear on the upper A-arm bushings Usually the top bushing go before the bottoms. Make sure top and bottom both take grease even if they do not feel worn.. If properly maintained--greasing with oil change, they never wear out.
