Latches for front tilt hood - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm taking a trip tomorrow to pick up some LeSabre hinges for a front tilt hood mod to be made this weekend. My question is, what have people who have already done this mod used for latches?

It looks like lotik used the stock latch in the front then used pins in the rear that slide into the firewall. I have not done mine yet and his is the only one i have seen with pics completed.
