my father and i are restoring a 1972 super cheyenne short box with a 402 bb and factory air. we got the truck after another guy had started a restoration. your basic basket case. i found a neat tag with some numbers stamped in it. it looks like it may go on the frame somewhere. we are restoring the truck to original and are replacing the chalk marks and such so would love to know where this tag goes. here is a picture of the tag:

any help is great! thanks.

Not (really) trying to be a smart a$$. Tried to resized it for you, but can't get it to load to the host. Maybe some one can help.

I don't recognize the tag, but that's not saying much.

I think you have to show that at the door to gain access to the
Lost City of Atlanta!!!! (Or was that Atlantis? Something like that, anyway)

Last time I saw one of those was when I was restoring my Chevelle.....Not a 100% sure but I think it was attached to the radiator...on one of the sides....

I think it goes on the radiator on the passenger side, about 3/4 way down. It fits on the side tank of the radiator and extends across the radiator fins on the back side.
