Some front end progress, and some ????'s
well got the hood an front bumper on this week. still waiting on parts from brothers. (door seals, intermediant harness for rear lights, and bed bushings.) so i started to sand down the hood. its ready for a good couple coats of primmer and to be lined up..
so how do a eliminate this??. will it adjust itself as the spring stretchs back out from being in the open position for the last 2 years. or do i need to adjust the hinge itself? any help would be great..hope to have the bed on by the end of the week. enjoy.peace. |

You can try oiling the hinges. Then you can try adjusting them down. If that does not work you need new hinges. They are avaible from GM new. Dont get Repops they are junk. I would bet on some oil getting it to set down.

Re: Some front end progress, and some ????'s
I would get the truck painted first. Then bother with lowering it more.

Re: Some front end progress, and some ????'s
I agree with you, I've been running flat black for years.
If rust or scatches appear I just fix it and shoot em. Paint is 4 the rich guys....rattle rattle

Flat black is where its at! It looks badass and its functional too. Plus it seems the ladies around here seem to like it.
