Re: Good or Bad Vote Now
The link didn't work. What will your friends think if you put lights under the truck? All my redneck hillbilly friends accuse me of being from California for driving a lowered shortbed.

Re: Good or Bad Vote Now
personally i think it is very very ricerish, and personally i wouldn't do stuff like that to my truck, money better spent on stuff making it go faster lol. But if you like it shouldn't really matter what other people think if you like it, roll with it

Re: Good or Bad Vote Now
I'm pretty sure I would never do it on my truck, but that's just me. If it's what you want, then do it...

Re: Good or Bad Vote Now
no link for me either... I don't like it. But I too am a firm believer in doing your own thing. If you like it, then thats all that matters. Opinions are like (you know), everyone has one and most of them stink!

Re: Good or Bad Vote Now
I Would'nt Do It To My Truck, But To Each Their Own. If You Like It,do It Who Cares What Others Think. That's What So Cool About Our Hobby. The Same Trucks Look Totally Diffrent, Because Of Our Diffrent Personalitys.

I like some ground effect lights but something just doesn't hook up right to me, maybe the pictures doesn't do it justice like seeing it in real life. ___________________________________________________________________________ChevyCrazy67

If in real life the light is "softer" than it appears in the pic, it might be okay.

Re: Good or Bad Vote Now
I say do whatcha like. I've seen Harley's with neon outlining the engine and you can't get anymore American than a Harley. Whatever you do just reflects your personallity. It's your handy work too, so be proud of it. I wouldn't put neon outside of mine, but if a could fab up some interior lighting I sure would try it.

If you like it keep it. For me it belongs on a overhead dance floor light system.

Re: Good or Bad Vote Now
I personally DO like the underglow on trucks. My buddy has a 94 shortbed with underglow and it looks Fantastic. Dont do anything to your truck based on other peoples opinions... Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, if you think it looks good on your truck do it. And no offense to none of you, but why is the lights "childish" or rice or whatnot, when we do other things to customize, like, shaving door handles, tailgates and things like that? Sorry if anyone takes that offensively, not my intentions.

Re: Good or Bad Vote Now
thanks for the replies
the lights are just a faint glow in real (pics dont do justice) so i heard good and bad about them and i respect all your opinions but it always comes down to the bottom line of what the person Building/creating /driving likes and in this case its me and i like them. so onca again thankx for your comments |

I personally don't like that effect on any vehicle....but, as others have said---it is your vehicle....do what YOU want to it.....

I wouldn't do it to mine, I personally believe that they are more suited for the import "tuner" cars.. ~JMHO

Re: Good or Bad Vote Now
I think the important thing to look at is who's name the truck is in. Once we get that settled, then it is up to that person to decided what is cool or not for that ride.
