Re: Some progress pics

Looks good. What are you using for primer? What color are you planning to paint it? BranZ

Re: Some progress pics

I'm using Southern Polyeurathane's 2 part epoxy. Martinsr suggested it. Eventually she will be 2003 Chevy Indigo Blue. Thanks, Jeff.

Re: Some progress pics

There was little or no undercoat on the underside. Just rust. As you can see there is still some under the edges. I just sanded the surface rust as best I could and then painted the primer around the perimeter. Still got to get to the edges to get the rest of the rust out before I can spray in there. Krue, I like that color too. I think it will go well with the white top. Thanks, Jeff.

Not likely Frenchy. The ships schedule is ramping up again, so I'll be gone most of the spring and summer. Here's a couple more photos from this weekend. Jeff

My Trailblazer is Indigo blue and my 71 C10 was painted some kind of blue we mixed up that has a common look with the Indigo under the right light. Great color, I like it alot, but just try to keep it clean. It shows ever spec of dust and every water drop if you don't shammy. Speaking of which it even shows any fibers that come off the shammy.

Re: Some progress pics

VT, I'm still learning as I go. This is my very first time painting anything, and I'm still learning body work, although I did all of it on the Cheyenne. Hence the reason its a 20 footer.

Even so, looks like you've learned from having done it and continue to improve.

The final joy is in the journey...right?

Thanks for sharing the progress pics/info.
