Re: easy ?
Reach up behind the dash and press a release on the top of the switch.

Re: easy ?
There is a release for the knob/shaft ass'y, located on top of the switch ass'y. When you press on it, you can pull the knob/shaft out of the switch. Then, you can unscrew the "nut" on the front of the switch and remove it from the dash......also, you gotta unplug the connector that fits on the switch. I'd strongly recommend disconnecting the battery (positive cable) before reaching up under and behind the dash.

Re: easy ?
Pull the knob out as far is it will go FIRST. Then press and hold the release button and pull the knob the rest of the way out.

Re: easy ?
I never had to use the release button on mine. Just kinda did a counter clockwise twist and pull. Is mine broke?

Re: easy ?
Unplug the battery because pulling the knob out also turns the lights on.
